I’ve been teaching IB Maths for 8 years, mostly with students taking AA at both SL and HL. A lot of my work is with Year 12 students who are fine with classwork but drop marks when questions get less predictable. I spend quite a bit of time on algebra, functions and exam technique, and I also help with IA planning when students are stuck choosing a topic that is workable rather than overcomplicated.

Hi, I’m an IB Maths tutor and most of my students come to me for AA because they want someone who will actually go through the steps properly. I teach online during the week and usually work with students who need help turning a 4 or 5 into a 6. I’m especially good with calculus and sequences, and I don’t mind slowing things right down if a topic has been rushed in school. We also do plenty of past-paper questions.

I currently tutor IB Maths on a one-to-one basis, with a particular focus on Analysis and Approaches. My background is in pure and applied mathematics, and I’ve worked with students from international schools who need structured preparation for tests, mocks, and final exams. I teach IB Maths AA and I’m probably best known for being quite practical. If a student sends me a photo of a worksheet the night before a test, I’ll usually turn it into the lesson plan. I like teaching trig, logs and anything to do with functions because those topics come up again and again in different forms. Quite a few of my students need help linking the basics together, so my lessons are usually clear, direct and question-based.

My experience is mainly with IB Diploma students preparing for Mathematics AA assessments and examinations. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students aiming for top university courses as well as those simply trying to get through the subject with a solid grade. I am thorough with core topics such as proof, calculus, and statistics, and I place a strong emphasis on method, notation, and avoiding the small errors that cost marks.

Hello, I tutor IB Maths full-time and mostly work with students who feel the course moves too quickly in school. I teach AA only, so my lessons are very focused on the style of questions that come up in that syllabus. I help with revision plans, timed practice and IA feedback, but I also do a lot of reteaching from scratch when needed. My favourite topics to teach are differentiation and probability because students usually improve fast once the method clicks.
